October 2006: Heather E. Morrison accepted a position as Director of the Utah Antidiscrimination and Labor Division and left Hoole & King, L.C. effective October 6, 2006. Roger H. Hoole and Lester A. Perry received awards from the Utah State Bar for their pro bono work on behalf of Utah Legal Services.
September 2006: Roger H. Hoole was elected to a one-year term as President of the Utah Trial Lawyers Association.
August 2006: Lester A. Perry accepted a position as an Adjunct Professor teaching consumer law at the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.

January 2005: Paul M. King, already appointed as a certified instructor for real estate agent continuing education by the Real Estate Division, Utah State Commerce Department, has been appointed as a certified instructor for mortgage licensee continuing education by the Real Estate Division. Recent courses developed by Mr. King for both real estate agents and mortgage licensees include a course entitled "Real Estate Purchase and Financing Through Qualified Retirement Plans," exploring proper and creative uses of self-directed IRA's for real estate investment and financing. May 2004: Paul M. King was elected as an officer of the Business Law Section of the Utah State Bar Association.
